SunnyD is a refreshing fruit-flavored drink brand of the Sunny Delight Beverage Company, Inc. The 100 Sunny Days promotion is a sweepstakes that runs for 100 days on the SunnyD Facebook page where customers go and enter product codes from the labels of product that they have purchased to enter into a daily sweepstakes for great prizes! The contest drives interest in the brand as well as product purchase in order to enter. SocialToaster was hired to help drive more traffic to the contest page.
To promote the 100 Sunny Days Sweepstakes from April 8 to May 7, gain at least 1,000 Ambassadors and drive as much web traffic as possible to the 100 Sunny Days promotion on Facebook.
The SocialToaster team worked with SunnyD and Pollin8 to offer an incentive of a .55 cent coupon for SunnyD product for signing up to to be an Ambassador. SunnyD then recruited their fans and followers through email, Facebook and Twitter postings and signed up 1,758 Ambassadors. Sunny D posted content through SocialToaster promoting the contest and upcoming prizes as well as inviting people to their recipes page and to post the pictures.

During the promotion of the 100 Sunny Days Sweepstakes, SunnyD exceeded its goal of creating 1,000 Ambassadors by 57%, actually creating 1,758 ambassadors for the popular beverage's campaign! Using SocialToaster, SunnyD Ambassadors shared 4,347 links through their social networks driving nearly 8,700 visits to the SunnyD Facebook page. The campaign reached 340,315 friends on Facebook, 84,968 followers on Twitter, 4,906 connections on MySpace and 130 Connections on LinkedIn. The total reach was 430,319 people.
